Alan Copeland makes and sells violins, violas and cellos. Inspiration is drawn from the Italian masters Antonio Stradivari and Joseph Guarneri del Gesu. The creation of instruments with excellent playability and tonal quality is a high priority. Also, fine workmanship and visual appeal are given much attention. The majority of the instruments made to date are finished with very little or no simulated wear or antiquing.
Violins and violas are priced in the range of $7,000 to $12,000. Cellos are in the range of $14,000 to $25,000. In the first year of ownership, all normal adjustment and maintenance is included. Instruments are shown by appointment. Please call or send an email to arrange a visit.
