Alan Copeland makes and sells violins, violas, and cellos. Inspiration is drawn from the work of the great Italian masters of violinmaking. The majority of the instruments made to date are finished with very little or no simulated wear or antiquing.
 
Copeland Violins and violas are priced in the range of $7,000 to $12,000, and cellos are in the range of $14,000 to $25,000. In the first year of ownership, all normal adjustments and maintenance are included. Other instruments are available with prices ranging from $1,000 to $4,000. Instruments are shown by appointment only.
